Alicia is a business transactions attorney with experience in highly regulated industries. She works with a wide range of marijuana and hemp clients providing strategic counsel and unique insights. Alicia began her legal career assisting micro businesses with startup and corporate compliance through a legal clinic, and then transitioned to the craft beer industry. She formed business entities, assisted business owners with acquiring other breweries, and provided advice on compliance, all within the parameters of the state and federal alcohol licensing laws. As a solo practitioner, Alicia also provided advice to her clients on employment law compliance.

Alicia grew up in a small town in western Washington state, and received a bachelor’s degree from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, where she majored in Political Science with a special interest in international development. After spending four years in Japan she received her J.D. from University of San Diego School of Law in 2013.

Alicia enjoys spending her weekends exploring the Portland area’s urban hiking trails and has spent time learning hand embroidery.
