Angela joined Green Light Law Group as a Paralegal in January 2021 and assists the attorneys with litigation, administration, and regulatory compliance matters.
Angela earned a Bachelor of Science of Social Science with an emphasis in Mathematics and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies from Portland State University. Prior to joining the Green Light team, Angela served as Chief Compliance Officer with a large scale vertically integrated cannabis company where she gained practical experience in applying various laws and regulations governing cannabis businesses in Oregon. In her prior legal career, Angela worked for the State of Oregon Department of Human Services and for a Salem, Oregon law firm specializing in business litigation and administrative law.
Angela has served as a Board Member for the Marion County Health Advisory Board, HIV Local Planning Committee for; Marion County and Salem Rainbow Youth. Angela has also served as a volunteer for many organizations around public health and justice issues, including: The Juvenile Court Improvement Program, Partnership for Safety and Justice, the Children’s Justice Alliance, Planned Parenthood of the Columbia Willamette, and the Salem-Keizer School District.
Angela is a Pacific Northwest native with a passion for nature, she enjoys four-season camping and putting in miles in her hiking boots with her fiancé. A self-described plant addict, her indoor plant jungle includes some rare collector plants like the Pink Princess Philodendron. Angela is also an avid outdoor gardener and mother; her children are grateful they get out of yard chores for mom’s favorite hobby.
