Brett joined Green Light Law Group in September 2021. He assists the firm’s litigation and transactional attorneys with legal research and drafting.
Brett graduated cum laude from Willamette College of Law in Salem, Oregon, during the spring of 2021. Prior to joining the Green Light team and during law school, he worked as a law clerk for the Oregon Department of Justice - Child Advocacy section. Brett earned his Bachelor of Sciences degree at the University of Minnesota, majoring in applied economics. During his undergraduate studies Brett worked as a public funding associate for Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, and at both the Minnesota state senate and Minnesota house of representatives.
Brett has and continues to volunteer on drug policy reform campaigns and legislation. He currently serves as an honorary board member for the NuLeaf Project and assisted in drafting the Oregon Equity Investment Act. Brett also served as a board member for Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP) international, and in that capacity held lectures and signature gathering events for Oregon Ballot Measures 109 & 110.
In his spare time, Brett enjoys going shopping for vinyl records, hiking, and watching foreign and classic films.
