Public Comment on OHA Psilocybin Rules Opens Today
The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) has opened the final round of public comment for rulemaking on the first state-sanctioned psilocybin services program in the United States. The proposed rules can be found here and public comment is set to close on November 21, 2022, at 5:00 pm.
These rules focus on the regulation of licensed psilocybin businesses, facilitator conduct, and psilocybin packaging and transportation. OHA this past summer finalized rules regarding psilocybin products, testing, and facilitator training. Anyone interested in submitting public comment can do so by attending one of the public hearing sessions listed below, or sending written comment by email to publichealth.rules@dhsoha.state.or.us.
